Team money and wins

Here is a graph of 2004-2006 team wins against the team salary. As is visible, a little money will drastically increase
wins at the bottom of the scale, but as the numbers rise, a larger increase in salary only slightly increases the numbers
of wins. This shows just how badly the Yankees are trying and how much they are wasting. A suitable trend line as is shown in the graph box can predict a team’s number of wins based on its team salary.
